Role Description

The Installer role is a contract, on-site position based in the Brownsville Metropolitan Area. In this role, you will install, assemble, and set up equipment, products, or systems according to technical specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements. You will review work orders, inspect installation locations, use appropriate tools, and verify that installations function correctly before completion. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting issues, performing basic maintenance or adjustments, documenting work performed, and communicating with supervisors, project managers, or customers as needed. You may work across different sites and companies, adapting to varied installation procedures and schedules while maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with hands-on installation, assembly, or field service work, using common power and hand tools safely and accurately.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, work orders, and basic technical documentation for installation tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on safety, quality control, and proper documentation of completed work.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and customers on-site.
• Capability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing job sites and project requirements.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, and work in varied environments, following all safety guidelines and company policies.
• Reliable transportation to reach multiple locations within the Brownsville Metropolitan Area and willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in installation, construction, facilities, or a related trade is preferred.
