Job summary

Rack N Road in Bellevue, WA is seeking a full-time Installer to safely install bike racks, roof racks, cargo boxes, trailer hitches, and overlanding systems for a wide range of vehicles. You will review work orders, prepare tools and parts, and ensure proper fit and function.

You will interact with customers to understand their needs, explain installation details, provide basic product education, and maintain a clean, organized workspace while following safety procedures and company standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills with tools, vehicle accessories, and basic automotive systems.
• Ability to read and follow installation instructions, technical diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
• Customer service and communication skills to clearly explain products and installation outcomes.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety, including proper use of equipment and adherence to shop protocols.
• Ability to lift and move vehicle accessories and equipment, and to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Reliability in punctuality, time management, and following scheduled work orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in automotive, vehicle outfitting, or related installation work is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with willingness to learn and complete brand and product training.
