Carter Lumber Installed Sales is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee multi-family installed projects in NE Ohio, ensuring effective communication between the office and field to keep production accurate and timely.

You will work with the Field Superintendent to set project direction, review plans, manage submittals, and ensure safety and contract compliance while coordinating with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in Commercial Multi-Family construction project management.
• Solid understanding of Job Site Management processes and construction assembly.
• Observes safety procedures and practices.
• Understands contracts including changes to build out processes and schedules.
• Analyzes and provides recommendations to solve problems.
• Gathers data, compiles information, and prepares reports.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Reads and comprehends blueprints.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• PlanSwift knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Review plans, specifications, and project schedule.
• Create a mutually agreed schedule of values with the customer.
• Review take-off to ensure correct quantities and timely orders.
• Submit and track product submittals until order approval.
• Arrange labor sub-contracts and labor sourcing.
• Procure materials and update Field Superintendent on arrivals.
• Provide customer change orders when needed.
• Review Field Superintendent reports and safety meetings.
• Submit pay applications per contract documents with customer.
• Submit and approve pay requests for subcontract labor.
• Attend jobsite meetings with customer and other trades.
• Set up initial customer meeting before scope work.
• Handoff meetings with sales to accept new projects.
• Review scope and schedule for accuracy of installation durations.

A Carter Lumber Installed Sales ConstructionProject Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and management for Multi-Family installed jobs. This is accomplished by keeping lines of communication and information open between the office and the field to ensure production is accurate and timely. Works closely with the Field Superintendent to determine the strategic direction of an installed Multi-Family project. Effective communication with the field and internal departments are mandatory for the success of this position.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in Commercial Multi-Family construction project management

• This position will be servicing the NE Ohio areas

Responsibilities :

• Thoroughly review all plans, specifications, and project schedule
• Create a mutually agreed upon schedule of values between Carter Lumber and customer
• Reviewtake-off to ensure correct quantities and product are ordered and delivered at the appropriate time
• Send and track submittals for all product until approved for order
• Obtain labor source and execute Carter Lumber approved labor sub-contract
• Procure material and advise Field Superintendent of arrival dates
• Provide customer change orders when necessary
• Review Field Superintendent daily reports and weekly safety meetings
• Track job Progression and monitor project budgetsSubmit pay applications per contract documents with customer
• Submit and approve pay requests on behalf of sub-contract labor
• Attend jobsite meetings with customer and other trades as needed
• Set up initial meeting with customer prior to performing scope
• Attend hand off meetings will sales team to accept new projects
• Review contract scope of work and schedule for accuracy of what is being provided and that durations for installation are acceptable
