Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an installation technician for Thermo King products in Delphos, Ohio. You will install Tripac APUs and single-temp trailer units and contribute to safe, reliable on-site installations.

On-site, five days a week with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and growth from installer to service tech through ongoing knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, transport refrigeration, and/or electrical systems.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and use hands for objects.
• Use computers for training and work orders.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Retention of SOPs and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean and reliable installation.
• Assist in scheduling, organizing inventory.
• Maintain a clean efficient workspace.
• Work with Managers to prepare for future installations, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
• Grow installers into service techs.
