AVI-SPL, Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician 2 to perform installation tasks for contracted projects, including cable pulls, terminations, rack fabrication, and wiring.
The role may lead small installation crews and report progress to the Project Manager to meet time, scope, budget, quality, and safety requirements. Bottom-line responsibilities include client communication, site leadership, reading schematics, and ensuring successful AV system installations across multiple sites.
The Installation Technician 2 will perform installation tasks for AVI-SPL contracted projects including but not limited to: cable pulls, cable terminations, system equipment and components, rack fabrication and wiring, layout for equipment and metal fabrication. The Installation Technician 2 could be expected to lead and direct installation crews on less complex projects per project directives and requirements by coordinating and reporting progress to Project Manager ensuring projects achieve time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction requirements.

Employees operating company or personal vehicles for business purposes must be legally authorized to drive, maintain a valid driver’s license and provide proof of coverage, meeting all minimum required insurance coverage as a condition of employment.
Employees driving fleet vehicles must meet eligibility requirements; comply with all guidelines, including telematics monitoring, vehicle maintenance schedules, proper use of assigned fuel and toll devices.
Frequent standing, walking, and physical activity.

Use of tools and equipment as required.
