Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking an Installation Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer sites. You will handle electro-mechanical repair tasks, work with aluminum framing and glazing, and communicate professionally with clients and contractors.

Qualified candidates will have mechanical aptitude, basic electrical knowledge, and a valid driver’s license. AAADM certification should be achieved within 12 months, with lifting and on-call duties as

Qualifications

• Experience repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Willingness to obtain AAADM certification within 12 months of employment.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring (120V).
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors.
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
• Lift, position, and install door components up to 110 pounds as needed.
