Alert 360 in Springfield, MO is seeking a Service/Install Technician to troubleshoot and service a broad range of alarm and site automation products for residential and commercial customers. You will perform programming, configuration, and commissioning while delivering excellent customer service and building customer loyalty.

Responsibilities include wiring, testing, coordinating inspections, and installing IQ, 2GIG, Honeywell, and Alarm.com devices.

Competenze

• Must have a minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in low voltage wiring.
• Experience troubleshooting IQ, 2GIG, Honeywell and Alarm.com devices.
• Demonstrated experience in alarm panel programming and CCTV preferred.
• Must possess advanced technical knowledge of relevant industry products and services.
• RAL/Fire license preferred

• Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment and wiring.
• Readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation.
• Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs.
• Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.

• Mount equipment; test existing equipment.
• Demonstrate equipment functions and use to customer.
• Accurately communicate to customers, coordinators and management when required.

• Verify customer has a solid understanding of how the product is used for safety.
• Maintain company vehicle; update truck inventory daily in lieu of work orders, replenish stock when needed, keep vehicle organized and clean.
• Maintain company issued hand tools in good working order.
• Follow company Fleet Policy and input hours into Paycom software.
• Use a variety of computer program and apps to successfully complete installation.
• Attend training classes as required by State Certification/Licensing functions.
• Work under general supervision and independently at multiple customer sites daily.
• Utilize and interpret location maps, blue prints, and schematic drawings.

Job Details

Job Location: A360 Springfield - Springfield, MO 65807, Position Type: Full Time, Hourly plus production bonus, on-call pay & commissions!

Summary

The Service/Install Tech troubleshoots and provides service to a variety of alarm products to residential homes and commercial sites. The position must be carried out providing for excellent customer service and driving customer loyalty, quality and overall satisfaction by servicing, programming, configuring, dismantling, reconstructing, converting, and trouble-shooting existing security and site automation solutions. This includes but is not limited to fire, carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control.
