Job summary

PASS Security in Missouri is seeking an Electronics Security Systems Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot intrusion, access control, and video systems for residential, commercial, and enterprise customers. You will wire, program, test, and commission systems while documenting actions for customers and peers.

The role requires reading technical diagrams, strong problem-solving, and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Install and service electronic security systems (intrusion, access control, cameras, integrated systems) and resolve installation issues.
• Wire new construction and existing structures for security systems.

• Provide customer training on the use and basic troubleshooting of common issues and programming features.
• Perform various tasks related to the service of electronic security systems, such as troubleshooting, repairing, updating, upgrading, and maintenance.
• Analyze and diagnose system failures to determine causes and necessary correction.
• Inspect quality of work performed to ensure conformity with specifications and requirements.
• Document work performed and corrective actions thoroughly and descriptively.

Work Requirements

• Be able to lift and carrying 50+ pounds, exposure to confined spaces (such as attics, basements, crawl spaces),
• Ability to manipulate objects (such as feeding wires and assembling system components),
• Ascending and descending ladders,
• Operating hand tools, driving trucks, large vans, and hauling trailers.

• Compensation Range: $25.00-36.00/HR, commensurate with experience
