1Source Fitness in Ohio is seeking a Commercial Fitness Equipment Installation Technician to deliver, assemble, install, and position commercial equipment at customer sites.

This hands-on role includes flooring installation, logistics support, and occasional overnight travel, with team collaboration and problem-solving from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and moving heavy equipment.
• Experience with equipment assembly, installation, moving, warehousing, logistics, flooring, or related trades preferred.
• Ability to travel for installation projects and occasional overnight trips.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, assemble, and install commercial fitness equipment.
• Load, upload, move, and position fitness equipment safely.
• Assemble cardio, strength, free-weight, and functional training equipment.
• Install rubber flooring, turf platforms, and other fitness flooring products.
• Assist with logistics, staging, inventory, and jobsite organization.
• Read and follow equipment layout plans, installation instructions, and work orders.
• Use hand tools, power tools, lifts, dollies, pallet jacks, and moving equipment.
• Protect customer facilities during delivery and installation.
• Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and project managers.
• Travel to customer locations for installation projects.
• Participate in occasional overnight trips when required.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, vehicles, and job materials.
• Follow company safety standards and proper lifting/moving procedures.
• Represent 1Source Fitness professionally while on customer sites.

This role also includes logistics support, flooring installation, jobsite organization, and occasional travel for projects that require overnight stays.

This is a hands‑on position ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, working as part of a team, solving problems in the field, and seeing a project completed from start to finish.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and moving heavy equipment
• Experience with equipment assembly, installation, moving, warehousing, logistics, construction, flooring, ir related trades preferred
• Ability to travel for installation projects
• Availability for occasional overnight trips
• Ability or willingness to learn how to drive a 26-foot straight truck
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in gyms, schools, universities, hotels, apartments, and other commercial fitness environments

Preferred Experience

• Commercial fitness equipment installation experience
• Experience assembling or repairing fitness equipment
• Moving, delivery, logistics, warehouse, or installation experience
• Flooring installation experience, especially with rubber flooring, turf, or athletic flooring
• Experience driving box trucks, straight trucks, or commercial delivery vehicles
• Forklift, pallet jack, liftgate, or material handling experience
• Basic knowledge of tools, hardware, anchors, fasteners, and layout measurements
