Job summary

Signature Communications (SIGCOM), a Loveland, CO-based fire alarm, life safety, and security contractor, is seeking an Installation Technician to install, test, program, and service low-voltage systems across commercial sites. You will collaborate with project managers and field supervisors to ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, a clean driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and strong communication; NICET certification is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Install, test, program, and service low-voltage systems including fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, and communication systems.
  • Pull cable and wire throughout commercial buildings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
  • Program and test equipment as required.
  • Understand and execute the project scope of work.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of tools and materials.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely.
  • Attend training and certification programs.
  • Provide excellent customer service on job sites.
  • Travel to project locations as needed.

I am working with Signature Communications (SIGCOM). They are a family-owned fire alarm, life safety, and communications contractor headquartered in Loveland, Colorado. The company specializes in fire alarm systems, security systems, CCTV, access control, nurse call systems, and communication infrastructures. SIGCOM is experiencing significant growth and is seeking hardworking, dependable individuals who wants to build a long-term career.

Responsibilities
  • The Installation Technician is responsible for installing, testing, programming, and servicing low-voltage systems, including fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, and communication systems. This role works closely with project managers and field supervisors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with specifications.
  • Pull cable and wire throughout commercial buildings.
  • Install fire alarm, access control, CCTV, security, and communication devices.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
  • Program and test equipment as required.
  • Understand and execute the project scope of work.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of tools and materials.

  • Attend training and certification programs.
