Job summary

AT&T is seeking a customer‑facing Installation Technician to install and activate high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services at customers' homes and small businesses in Deerfield Beach, FL. You’ll work independently with a focus on service quality, problem solving and bringing customers online quickly.

You’ll encounter diverse environments, climb ladders, and meet new people daily while enjoying paid training and career growth. Weekly hours: 40; Location: Deerfield Beach, FL.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Lift up to 60 lbs and climb ladders up to 28 ft.
• Able to work in small spaces or aloft.
• Identify wire and cable colors.
• Complete pre-employment assessment.

Responsibilities

• Install the latest technology for high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi and voice services at customers' homes or businesses.
• Provide seamless installation and activation and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Meet new people daily and deliver best-in-class service.
• Work independently as a trusted expert and handle overtime or emergency calls.
• Contribute to a positive customer experience during every visit.

As an Installation Technician, you’ll work independently at our customer’s homes and businesses as a trusted expert, installing the latest technology for high-speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services. You’ll have the opportunity to meet new people every day while solving problems and being rewarded for doing great work. Whether you’re putting in a new line, climbing a ladder or simply plugging in and activating a wifi network, one thing is true, no two days will be the same.

Our Installation Technicians earn between $17.26 and $31.00 an hour. Our average starting salary is $35,906 per year. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.

Want to be considered?

• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Possess a valid state driver’s license
• Lift and move up to 60 lbs – some of our ladders weigh 50-60 lbs
• Weigh less than 325 lbs., required for ladder safety
