Job summary

Alliance Laundry Systems Distribution is seeking an Installer to manage delivery, installation, start-up, and testing of commercial laundry equipment. You will read blueprints, wiring diagrams and manuals; connect systems to electrical, plumbing, gas and ventilation per codes; level and anchor units; and coordinate with contractors and facility staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of work experience in commercial, military, industrial or manufacturing equipment repair preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electric, plumbing, and HVAC would be helpful.
• Experience with telephone and email/ticketing dispatch system-based customer support preferred.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, install, start-up, and test equipment to ensure customer satisfaction following standards and safety rules.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals to ensure proper installation.
• Connect equipment to electrical, plumbing, gas, and ventilation systems per codes and specifications.
• Level and anchor equipment to floors and walls per safety and operational standards.
• Coordinate with general contractors, facility managers, and utility trades on site logistics.
• Train end users and facility staff on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
• Complete installation documentation, inspection checklists, and warranty registration.

Working closely with our Installation team, you will uphold Alliance Laundry Systems' quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure every installation is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality.ResponsibilitiesPerform the functions of equipment delivery, installation, start-up, operation, and other duties as required to ensure customer satisfaction following company standards, techniques, and safety requirementsInstall, configure, and commission commercial washers, dryers, and finishing equipment in laundromats, hotels, hospitals, and multi-unit residential facilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals to ensure proper installationConnect equipment to electrical, plumbing, gas, and ventilation systems in compliance with local codes and manufacturer specificationsLevel and anchor equipment to floors and walls per safety and operational standardsTest installed equipment for proper operation and troubleshoot any issues prior to handoffCoordinate with general contractors, facility managers, and utility trades on job site logisticsTrain end users and facility staff on equipment operation and basic maintenanceComplete installation documentation, inspection checklists, and warranty registrationMaintain company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory in good working orderEffectively communicates top level escalations to Manager and contributes to best practices and process improvementQualificationsEducation & Experience:High School diploma or equivalent required3+ years of work experience working in commercial, military, industrial or manufacturing equipment repair preferred.
