Job summary

Sorting Robotics Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician to install and configure robotic systems at customer sites across the US and Canada. You will travel up to 100% domestically and internationally, install and test systems, and provide training and support to customers.

Qualified candidates have an associate degree or equivalent, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Vaccination records may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Prior experience in installation and maintenance of complex technical systems.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and ability to read technical drawings/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install and configure robotic systems.
• Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality.
• Provide training and technical support to customers on operation and maintenance of robotic systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve technical issues.
• Document installation procedures and create installation reports.
• Assist with development of standard operating procedures for installation and maintenance.
• Travel up to 100% domestically and internationally; work independently with minimal supervision.
• Manage project timelines and ensure timely completion of installations.

Sorting Robotics Inc. is currently seeking an Installation Technician to join our team. As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing and configuring our robotic systems at customer sites.

Preferred: Must be comfortable with cannabis (preferred you enjoy it and have experienced it) as we manufacture robotic innovations for the legal cannabis market in the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to customer sites to install and configure robotic systems
• Performing system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality
• Providing training and technical support to customers on the operation and maintenance of the robotic systems
• Collaborating with the engineering and support teams to resolve any technical issues encountered during installations
• Documenting installation procedures and creating installation reports
• Assisting with the development of standard operating procedures for installation and maintenance activities
• Traveling up to 100% of the time, both domestically and internationally
• Working independently with minimal supervision
• Managing project timelines and ensuring timely completion of installations

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
