Job summary

TEKsystems in Simi Valley, CA is seeking a Contract Installation Technician to consult with customers, install, configure and test equipment, and ensure service activation at client sites. The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent (electronic trade training a plus), and installation experience.

This fully onsite position pays $30.00–$35.00 per hour with benefits as described.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with customers to assess their needs and recommend the most appropriate systems and equipment solutions.
• Install, configure, and test equipment to ensure proper functionality, signal reception, and service activation.
• Evaluate site conditions and customer requirements to deliver the best possible solution for each location.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance and functionality and provide recommendations to customers.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to prevent injury and protect property.
• Maintain accountability for company materials, tools, equipment, and ladders to prevent loss or damage.
• Ensure work areas are left clean and professional by removing debris, patching installation-related holes, and restoring the site to its original or better condition.
• Perform additional duties as assigned that support the organization's mission, vision, and core values.

Work Environment

• Work in a dynamic, customer-focused environment that emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and exceptional service.
• Interact regularly with customers and colleagues to deliver effective solutions and a positive customer experience.
• Travel to customer homes and business locations to install, troubleshoot, and support equipment and services.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
