Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking an Installation Specialist to join our field team in Arlington, TX. You will install equipment according to project specifications, on customer sites, and work under the directions of the Project Manager and Foreman.

You should have at least a high school diploma and experience as an electrician or control systems installer, with knowledge of electrical codes and construction processes. Drug screening will be required.

Qualifications

  • Must have minimum high school diploma.
  • Two years as an electrician or control systems installer.
  • Technical Associates or Journeyman license preferred.
  • Must understand current building electrical code. Must have the specific product and industry knowledge necessary to make technical day-to-day decisions
  • Must be familiar with the trade work of electricians and the construction process
  • Must have a basic understanding of the current and future capabilities of the control system being installed and maintained by the company
  • This position requires working in diverse project types including industrial environments
  • Thorough background and drug screening will be required for each applicant

Responsibilities

  • Install equipment per project specifications.

The controls installer performs all the labor tasks involved with installing a company and customer-specified DDC system.
  • Maintaining high standards of professional conduct and quality workmanship, as well as high levels of personal integrity while representing the company through the process of a customer project installation.
