Job Title: Installation Service Technician

Location: Remote (Travel to Project Sites Required)

Type of Role: Full-time

We have teamed up with a leading manufacturer of material handling solutions and currently have a job opening for an Installation Service Technician, able to travel domestically and abroad.

Responsibilities

• Install Conveyors and Sortation Systems and Equipment.
• Service and repair Sortation and Conveyor Systems.
• Complete all onsite activities as defined by the Install Manager.
• Participate in onsite meetings with safety, customers, and end users.
• Practice safe working standards.
• Ensure that all onsite project information is appropriately documented.
• Participate in maintenance and operational training presentations as required.
• Assist in commissioning the product tests for customers.

Qualifications

• Hold a High School or higher degree.
• Possesses strong mechanical aptitude and is willing to be hands-on.
• Ability to be self-motivated, work unsupervised, detail-oriented, and manage time effectively.
• Possess good judgment and decision-making.
• Ability to read, understand, and assemble from blueprints and schematics.
• Must be prepared to travel for long periods for installations.
• Possess basic mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Prior Conveyor and Sortation system experience is a plus.

Salary range: $30 to $34 per hour depending on experience
