Installation Manager - Washington State/West Coast

The Role:

The Installation Manager will be responsible for end-to-end planning and execution of installation activities on projects. This includes overseeing contractors, ensuring timely and within-budget completion, and meeting all requirements and specifications. The manager will also coordinate with other departments and clients to support system integration and functionality testing.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the customer interface for installation program activities.
  • Travel (up to 60%) within the western Washington State region, with potential travel to the broader West Coast. Typically, this involves three weeks of travel followed by one to two weeks at home.
  • Schedule subcontractors and internal resources throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and internal teams on installation matters.
  • Oversee Field Services Supervisors, Technicians, and subcontractors performing installations, modifications, and repairs of toll systems and related equipment.
  • Plan and coordinate installation of tolling system equipment, managing onsite activities to ensure quality and timeliness.
  • Maintain focus on safety, cost, schedule, and quality across the program.
  • Develop Project Installation Plans, including strategies and subcontracting plans.
  • Work with the project manager to develop installation schedules and resource plans.
  • Perform Installation Readiness Reviews.
  • Support subcontractor scope development.
  • Adhere to project standards and procedures, maintaining all documentation.
  • Interpret electrical and civil drawings and schematics.
  • Review drawing packages with internal and external teams.
  • Coordinate pre-installation site visits, site walks, and acceptance visits.
  • Ensure proper inspection, storage, staging, and documentation of project inventory.
  • Document field changes during installation.
  • Maintain installation checklists and configuration records, uploading them to project files.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and requirements.
  • Support system integration and functionality.
  • Monitor repairs (RMA) during installation, ensuring timely completion and proper documentation for payments.
  • Oversee diagnosis of issues involving various toll system components.

What we are looking for:
  • 5+ years of installation supervisory experience.
  • High School diploma, supplemented with trade or technical training (RF or Electrical preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with multi-meters, fiber termination kits, and hand tools.
  • RF or microwave experience is a plus.
Our top candidates will have:
  • Ability to interpret electrical and civil drawings.
  • Experience with MS Projects.
  • Prior tolling experience.
