Job summary

WorkRocket is seeking an experienced Installation Manager to join our client’s team in the Atlanta area. This role focuses on coordinating field installations, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence, with a Monday through Friday dayshift.

The ideal candidate will have a track record overseeing cabinets, casework, countertops, or millwork installations, manage crews, communicate with project managers, and drive on-time project completion with top-tier service.

Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating or overseeing the installation of cabinets, casework, countertops, millwork, or similar products.
  • Ability to manage field crews, schedule installations, and communicate with project stakeholders.
  • Commitment to safety and quality on job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and verify accurate field dimensions and site conditions.
  • Plan and coordinate installation crews based on project schedules, job-site readiness, crew availability, and installation requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication with installation crews and job-site contacts to obtain progress updates, identify concerns, and confirm upcoming needs.
  • Visit job sites regularly to monitor progress, assess workmanship, verify project requirements, and ensure installations are proceeding safely and efficiently.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve field issues, installation challenges, dimensional discrepancies, material shortages, and other job-site concerns.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between installation crews, project managers, the shop, contractors, customers, and other involved parties.
  • Communicate field conditions, schedule changes, project delays, material needs, and installation concerns to the appropriate internal and external contacts in a timely manner.
  • Complete, review, and submit material request forms accurately and promptly to support field installation needs and corrective work.
  • Coordinate the delivery or replacement of materials, hardware, tools, and equipment required to complete installations.
  • Ensure installations meet company quality standards, project specifications, approved drawings, and customer expectations.
  • Review blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, schedules, and other project documents to prepare for and support successful installations.
  • Confirm job sites are ready for installation and coordinate with project managers or contractors when site conditions could affect the schedule or quality of the work.
  • Provide direction, support, coaching, and performance feedback to installation crews and individual installers.
  • Ensure installation crews follow company policies, job-site requirements, and all applicable safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records regarding field dimensions, crew schedules, job-site progress, open issues, material requests, and project completion.
  • Participate in project planning and production coordination meetings as needed to provide field updates and help prevent installation-related issues.
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with project managers, shop personnel, installation crews, contractors, customers, and other job-site representatives.
  • Manage multiple active projects and adjust priorities, schedules, and resources as field conditions change.
  • Remain highly involved in daily installation activities and take ownership of projects through successful completion.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
