Job description

Summary:

In this position, the Installation Laborer supports the Construction Foreman with the goal of becoming proficient in the installation of fueling systems, including tank installation, piping, dispenser installation, and related mechanical systems used to operate fueling facilities and dispense fuel products.

Responsibilities:

1. Follow directions closely to operate machinery, supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery.
2. Potentially trained to operate machinery when the normal operator is unavailable.
3. Report issues to supervisors or higher-level employees.
4. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate a construction truck.
• Physically capable of climbing ladders, standing, squatting, shoveling, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Complete and submit daily reports, paperwork, and site photos.
• Legible handwriting and ability to fill out forms.
• Ability to listen, understand, and follow instructions.
• Adaptability to work in various roles.
• Articulate with a friendly, professional demeanor with customers and staff.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.

Experience:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of manual labor experience.
• At least 1 year of construction work experience.
• Experience with petroleum equipment is a plus but not required.
