This position will be Remote.

Telos is looking for a Senior Network Support Technician to work on the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) - Increment 1 (INC1) program. The Global Enterprise Network Modernization - OCONUS (GENM-O) is a critical mission provider responsible for keeping the Army connected through global network modernization projects. The Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) - Increment 1 (INC1) will unify the next generation of Army transport to comply with the Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) divestiture mandate. A phased systematic approach is required to provide individual sites with standardized, updated technology systems to ensure the Army's IT infrastructure is equipped to provide soldiers with cutting-edge technology, ensuring applications, data, and enterprise services are accessible, trusted, and interoperable across the globe.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist with overseeing the network engineering and design process from initiation to closure.
  • Hold pivotal roles on Remote Engineering & Installation Teams (REITs) and Orchestration & Automation Teams (OATs).
  • Assign tasks, manage workloads, and provide performance leadership and guidance.
  • Responsible for the survey, engineering, installation, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and networks.
  • Develop deliverables including the Engineering Implementation Plan (EIP), Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), Project Drawings, Innovation Recommendation Report, and Concept Development Report.
  • Act as a liaison between the AGUN program and customer, coordinating with the Program Management Office (PMO) for engineering and design solutions.
  • Implement industry best practices, including MBSE, NetSecDevOps, and SecDevOps methodologies.
  • Manage data and develop RACI charts and SDN solutions.
  • Employ continuous improvement methods to analyze data trends for intelligence assessments.
  • Develop and integrate AGUN network and orchestration solutions, and configure network and security devices in the lab environment.
  • Survey and test existing infrastructure for potential reuse.
  • Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation such as enterprise architecture, system design, and network architecture.
Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications
  • US Citizen with a Secret security clearance.
  • DoD 8570 certifications, IAT II, OS.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 7+ years of experience, or Master's with 5+ years of experience.
  • Demonstrated technical team leadership experience.
  • Experience working within the Agile framework.
  • Prior experience with designing, deploying, testing, and migrating network infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies (e.g., Cisco, VERSA, Juniper).
  • Extensive knowledge of WAN, MPLS, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS), and internet technologies.
  • Strong campus/enterprise networking experience.
  • Ability to research networking issues and products.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to CONUS/OCONUS locations (50%).
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Army's IT infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with API automation/orchestration tools like Ansible and Python.
  • Experience with CI/CD DevOps pipelines.
  • Understanding of virtualization, hypervisors, HCI, cloud-native, and container tech.
  • Experience with Public/Gov/DoD Cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper).
  • Knowledge of Remote Access VPN, IPsec, TLS, PKI.
  • Understanding of SASE/SSE Zero Trust principles/products.
  • Certifications in SDN technologies (Cisco, Juniper, VERSA).
  • Stay updated with industry trends and tools.
  • Excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
