What You Will Do
- Provide highly visible customer support through on-site installation of linear accelerators and imaging systems, and oversee diagnostics, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
- Check out and approve operational quality of system equipment.
- Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
- Serve as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects; interpret customers’ needs and facilitate resolution.
- Support field activities including system hardware/software, PCs, and networking/wireless networking installs and upgrades; support a wide range of company products to ensure customer equipment operates properly.
- Demonstrate to customers equipment operation and specifications according to Customer Acceptance Procedure (CAP).
- Advise customers on spare parts orders or service requests to ensure customers can operate their VMS equipment safely and effectively.
- Advise customers on where to find Customer Technical Bulletins and why they are important. Input detailed installation and upgrade records into company information systems to ensure up-to-date customer installation information is available to other functions.
- Maintain professionalism and safety in accordance with guidelines and customer regulations to perform activities under safe conditions.
- Perform parts inventory and ordering for installations, including replenishing spare parts kits and handling shipments per procedure.
- Maintain technical documentation regarding operating characteristics and development of products to improve installation efficiency.
- Complete installation documentation and data-tracking requirements; provide timely reports (FSRs, time sheets, expense reports) as needed.
- Use prescribed problem-resolution escalation procedures and request technical assistance as necessary.
What You Will Have
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years related experience, or Associates/Bachelor’s degree in a related program preferred.
- Knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical engineering, RF energy devices, and electronic cooling systems.
- Proficient in using test equipment for verification and calibration of electronic equipment.
- Basic networking skills to integrate the machine onto the customer server.
- Knowledge of PC-based systems and customer-focused attitude.
- Articulate interpersonal communication skills; fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Location: Close to an airport and within reasonable commuting distance.

Travel and Other Requirements
Ability to travel for 10 days followed by 4 days off throughout the year. Overtime and shift differential provided.
Benefits and Compliance
Company vehicle provided (can be used for personal use) – governed by Fleet Safety Policy. A valid driver’s license and compliance with state/local laws are required. Salary range: $50,210–$70,000 plus overtime, differential, bonus, PTO, holidays, 401(k) match, medical/dental/vision, tuition reimbursement, and more.
Vendor credentialing requirements may apply to access client sites and must be maintained during employment; requirements vary by client and may include identification, background checks, drug screens, immunizations, TB testing, and healthcare trainings.
