Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation schedules, customer appointments, and contractor timelines.
• Support scheduling, dispatching, tracking, and completion of projects in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate with installers, customers, and contractors to keep projects on track and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project notes, customer records, and installation details.
• Build strong relationships with contractors and customers to deliver a seamless installation experience.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with staging materials for crew loadouts.
• Support the loading and unloading of materials and trucks as needed.
• Provide cross-functional support to internal teams when needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every stage of the project.

About the Role

As an Installation Coordinator at Express Flooring, you’ll play a key role in managing the scheduling, coordination, and communication of residential flooring installation projects through our contracted vendor network. You’ll review project details, coordinate installation timelines, and work closely with customers, installers, and internal teams to ensure every project is completed efficiently, on time, and to Express Flooring standards.

This is a fast-paced, hands‑on role for someone who thrives on organization, communication, and problem‑solving. If you enjoy staying organized, solving problems, and working collaboratively in a fast‑moving environment, you’ll fit right in.

Job Type: Full‑Time; In‑Person Compensation: $25-27/hour Schedule: Monday‑Friday; 6am-2:30pm Location: West Sacramento

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of customer service or customer support experience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, installers, contractors, and internal teams
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly when issues arise
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accurate records and attention to detail
• Experience with scheduling, inventory management, or project tracking software preferred
• A team‑oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer‑based systems
• Forklift certification or prior forklift experience is a plus
