Install Coordinator – Stanley Access Technologies, Manteca, CA
Stanley Access Technologies (SAT) is an industry leader in manufacturing, installation, and servicing of automatic doors. The Install Coordinator (IC) manages key customer projects locally, serving as the handoff from the Territory Manager (TM) to Operations and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
What You Will Do
- Manage the relationship with the customer and internal SAT departments.
- Provide clear communications between customer and all SAT departments.
- Attend coordination meetings & trainings as required by customer.
- Meet with customers to clarify specific job site requirements.
- Assist in the technical feasibility of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
- Provide takeoffs and other project related details for TM and Ops.
- Conduct job site readiness checks to ensure project follows schedule.
- Develop a detailed project plan with IC to monitor and track progress.
- Coordinate and document changes to project scope, schedule, and cost.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and elevate to management as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints.
- Give guidance to techs and provide on‑site supervision.
- Assist the customer in obtaining close‑out documents & signatures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience as a project coordinator in a construction or industrial environment.
- Strong computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and multi‑tasking ability.
- Ability to lead and direct the work of others.
- Taking ownership of larger projects and being the eyes & ears for SAT locally at those job sites.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing.
- Project Management or Finance experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 systems.
