Job summary

CultureSpace in San Antonio seeks a dedicated Installer to support our fast-growing office furniture projects across Texas.

You will load, install, and service furniture, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality on site. This full-time role offers overtime opportunities, varied hours, and room for growth within a learning-centered company.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years experience in furniture installation.
  • High School Diploma Required.
  • Must have own tools for assembly.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage small to medium-scale projects with minimal supervision.
  • Lead sub-contractors by assigning duties and keeping crew on task to keep project momentum moving towards completion.
  • Participates in project site walkthroughs and provide guidance on installation.
  • Load and unload office furniture and related materials on and off trucks, ensuring that appropriate padding and ropes are used to prevent damage.
  • Assembly, disassemble, deliver and service all types of brands of office furniture.
  • Perform site cleanup maintaining a clean and organized job site.
  • Coordinate with clients’ building managers when required on site to ensure all requirements are followed by installation crew(s).
  • Operate mechanical lifts gates and other platforms to facilitate loading and unloading of furniture.
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
  • Retain fuel/toll and maintenance receipts.
  • Complete installation labor contract billing and submittal
  • Report all punch items and project concerns to Project Managers and/or Director of Project Operations as soon as identified.
  • Obtain contract labor PO numbers from sub-contract labor crews.
  • Perform quality control checks, when necessary, prior to project installation.
  • Ensure vehicles used by self and sub-contractors are kept orderly and ready for the next assignment.
  • Attend out-of-town installations with occasional extended hours and overnight travel stay.
  • Safety: Verify that all operations, work in progress and all completed work complies with all applicable codes, safety regulations, drawings, specifications and all corporate policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • 2-4 years experience in furniture installation
  • High School Diploma Required
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range ofaudiences.
  • Able to read furniture installation and assembly blueprints and manuals
  • Must have a cell phone with an active voice and data plan.
  • Must have own tools for assembly (List of tools will be provided).
