Job summary

Cook Solutions Group Inc. in Spokane, WA is seeking an Installation Apprentice to join our growing security systems team. You will train alongside a Journeyman Technician in a hands-on environment.

The role combines on-site installation, service, and surveys with opportunities to travel regionally. Requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to learn. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand on your feet.
• Willingness to travel up to one week for projects.
• Previous installation experience is a plus but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Install and service security systems with a Journeyman Technician.
• Learn wiring, equipment installation, and system commissioning.
• Perform site surveys and respond to service calls.
• Ensure systems run smoothly through testing and quality checks.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Cook Solutions Group.
• Maintain tools, inventory, and complete documentation on time.
• Occasionally travel up to one week for projects across the region.

Installation Apprentice – Full Time | Spokane, WA

Pay: $20 - $24 hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work side‑by‑side with a Journeyman Technician to install and service cutting‑edge security systems.
• Learn the ropes of wiring, equipment installation, and system commissioning in a supportive, hands‑on environment.
• Perform site surveys and respond to service calls with professionalism and efficiency.
• Ensure every system runs smoothly through thorough testing and quality checks.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Cook Solutions Group with pride.
• Maintain tools, job inventory, and complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Occasionally travel (up to one week at a time) for exciting projects across the region.

What You Bring to the Table:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• A professional attitude, appearance, and eagerness to learn
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on your feet

Previous installation experience is a plus but not required—we’ll train the right person with the right attitude.
