Job summary

Cook Solutions Group Inc invites energetic individuals to join as Installation Apprentices in the Salt Lake City, UT area. You will work closely with a Journeyman Technician, learning wiring, equipment installation and system commissioning in a hands-on setting.

Full-time role with pay ranging from $20 to $24 per hour. You’ll perform site surveys, handle service calls, and contribute to testing and documentation while building a rewarding technical career.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong communication, time management and customer service skills are essential.
• Professional attitude and eagerness to learn are expected.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stay on the job site for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Install and service security systems with a Journeyman Technician.
• Learn wiring, equipment installation and system commissioning.
• Conduct site surveys and respond to service calls professionally.
• Perform thorough testing and quality checks to ensure reliability.
• Maintain tools and complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Occasionally travel up to one week for projects across the region.

Installation Apprentice – Full Time | Salt Lake City, UT
Pay: $20 - $24 hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work side‑by‑side with a Journeyman Technician to install and service cutting‑edge security systems.
• Learn the ropes of wiring, equipment installation, and system commissioning in a supportive, hands‑on environment.
• Perform site surveys and respond to service calls with professionalism and efficiency.
• Ensure every system runs smoothly through thorough testing and quality checks.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Cook Solutions Group with pride.
• Maintain tools, job inventory, and complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Occasionally travel (up to one week at a time) for exciting projects across the region.

What You Bring to the Table:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills
• A professional attitude, appearance, and eagerness to learn
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on your feet

Previous installation experience is a plus but not required—we’ll train the right person with the right attitude.
