Job summary

Systems Technology Forum in the United States seeks a Deployment/Installation Analyst to support US Navy programs on ships, subs, and shore sites. You will help install hardware and software, compile installation docs, and coordinate with SCDs, JCFs, SARs, and SIDs to keep programs on track.

Travel is required and telework is not supported. A Secret clearance and a Bachelor's Degree are required to qualify for this role.

Qualifications

Must have at least three (3) years of professional experience supporting installation of hardware and software.
Knowledge of C4ISR, installation management, and advance planning.
Secret clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Reviews technical documentation and installation plans and provides progress reports on installation issues.
Prepares installation documentation and maintains data in the installation file repository.
Coordinates with SCD initiators, design teams, and stakeholders to track SCDs, JCFs, SARs and SIDs.

Job Summary

Provides analytical support to install hardware and software on platforms, to include ships, subs, and shore sites for US Navy Program.
They may also perform the following functions:

Prepares afloat, shore, and submarine installation policy, process, standards, and training documentation.
Provides installation process execution requirements and software specifications to support tool development.
Appliesregulations and policies affecting the installation of Programs of Record (POR) or non-POR systems (i.e., Navy Installation Process Handbooks, NAVSEA Technical Specifications, OPNAV instructions, Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual, etc.)

Telework is not supported. Travel is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

Reviews technical documentation, installation plans, installation intentions, and provides progress status reports on significant technical, programmatic issues, and concerns related to the installation of all PAE MS Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) products and platform availabilities.
Prepares installation documentation based on a review of installation documentation and databases.
Maintains inputs within the designated installation database or individual tracking system; enter all installation documentation, installation plans, and installation intentions into the installation file repository, designated installation database, or individual tracking system.
Coordinates with the Ship Change Document (SCD) Initiators and SCD Submitters, PAE MS design team, and other stakeholders to track the development and approval of SCDs, Justification/Cost Forms (JCFs), Ship Alteration Records (SARs), Installation Requirements Drawings (IRDs), Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs), Equipment Delivery Date(s) (EDDs), and other installation documentation.
Coordinates Ship checks/Site Surveys and equipment installation dates. The Contractor shall maintain the installation file repository, designated installation database, or individual tracking system and program/project milestone schedule.
Provides Capability Based In-Service Engineering Agent (CBISEA) installation support including drafting status reports, coordinating and overseeing tests and installations, and preparing for and delivering technical briefings
Coordinates activities to prepare and interpret information associated with PAE MS Program of Record (PoR) security postures and cybersecurity tools and processes.
Leverages cybersecurity processes and tools to capture platform and site-specificinformation on patch availability, delivery, and distribution for Interoperability Assurance ofValidation (IAV) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) available for release andimplementation.
Implements an Installation Vulnerability Cyber Risk Management Process (Identify, Analysis, Mitigation planning and implementation, and Tracking) to track and manage platform and site cybersecurity vulnerabilities to support SOVT Report closeout, System of Systems Operability Test (SOT), and cyber baseline establishment activities.
Reviews Work Plan tasks in the Future Year Defense Plan (FYDP) to support installation.
Prepares installation documentation such as JCFs, Installation Control Documents (ICDs),SIDs, Equipment Delivery Dates (EDDs), and Ship Change Documents (SCDs).
Prepares shore-related products such as Standard Plans, Test Plans, Installation SOVTReports, Base Electronic System Engineering Plans (BESEPs), FRCB inputs, IDPs and SiteSurvey Reports.
Provides installation management support for the assigned RO to field hardware and software on new construction ships.
Works with government installation activities on both East and West coast to ensure SOVTs are delivered in support of installation readiness timelines.
Works with Program APMs on budget forecasting and FY Spend Plans for SOVT and PICOs.
Manages SOVT and PICO metric dashboards for leadership tracking of progress and issues.

The minimum salary starts at $100,000 and the max is negotiable based on experience
