Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions seeks an Installation Analyst II to support hardware and software installation on shore and afloat platforms, including policy and standards documentation. You will provide installation requirements, and ensure compliance with Navy/JFMM, NAVSEA specs, and related guidance.

The role requires US citizenship, TS clearance eligibility, and 3+ years of telecom/IT installation experience.

Qualifications

• US citizen with ability to obtain Top-Secret clearance.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience supporting the installation, testing, and repair of telecommunications equipment and systems.
• Experience leading teams during IT/AV/VTC installations.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.

• Develop, review, analyze and correct company processes and procedures concerning the installation of C4ISR/IT/AV systems for afloat and ashore components of the DOD.
• Provide procedural solutions and recommendations to resolve installation discrepancies.
• Strong coordination, organization, teaming and communication abilities.
• Works well individually or in a team environment.
• Required reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position is based in Colorado Springs, CO and Huntsville, AL.

Job Overview

The role of the Installation Analyst II is to provide analytical support to the installation of hardware and software on platforms, including shore installations ships. They may also; Prepare afloat, shore, and submarine installation policy, process, standards, and training documentation. Provide installation process execution requirements and software specifications to support tool development. Apply regulations and policies affecting the installation of Programs of Record (POR) or non-POR systems (i.e., Navy Installation Process Handbooks, NAVSEA Technical Specifications, OPNAV instructions, Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

• Proven knowledge aspects of guidance and procedures relating to equipment and software installation for DOD facilities and mobile units.
• Experience reading installation drawings and technical procedure documentation with an emphasis on compliance to published guidance.
• Proven knowledge of installation and testing method procedures.

Job Requirements

Mandatory

• Must be a US citizen
• Must be able to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have a minimum of Three (3) years of professional experience supporting the installation, testing, and repair of telecommunications equipment and systems.
• Must have experience leading teams during IT/AV/VTC installations
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.

Preferred

• Knowledge of DOD DATA centers
• Bachelor of Science in IT Management
• Knowledge of C4I systems
• Working Knowledge of SPAWAR SIPH (Shore Installation Process Handbook).
• Working Knowledge of NAVSEA Technical Specifications
• Working knowledge of OPNAV Instructions and the JFMM.
• BICSI Level 2 Certification.
