Job summary

American Equipment is seeking an Install Technician to join our Pittsburgh, CA location. The role involves installing overhead cranes, maintaining safety standards, and documenting work performed on service reports. Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required as part of project support.

Ideal candidates have electrical or mechanical aptitude, strong teamwork and communication skills, and a commitment to safety. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required.

Install Technician- Cranes

Position Summary:

We are looking for an Install Technician in our Pittsburgh, CA location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in installation of equipment / cranes


• Accurately and neatly document on the service report for the work performed.


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.


• Travel will be required, including occasional overnight travel.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Aptitude for either electrical or mechanical environments as well as familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment


• Ability to work well in a team environment.


• Willingness to work overtime is required


• Strong communication skills


• Proven commitment to safety


• Comfort with working at heights

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma


• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving history and no DUIs


• Hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance or equivalent military experience a plus


• Must pass drug-screen and background check

Work Environment

This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
