Job summary

American Equipment is seeking an Install Technician at our Pittsburgh, CA location to install cranes and perform electro-mechanical maintenance. Travel, safety focus, and teamwork are essential as you install equipment and document work performed.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a leading crane and hoist solutions provider.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; valid driver's license with clean record.
• Hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance experience is a plus.
• Ability to install and service cranes and hoists.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Travel is required, including occasional overnight travel.

Position Summary:

We are looking for an Install Technician in our Pittsburgh, CA location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in installation of equipment / cranes


• Accurately and neatly document on the service report for the work performed.


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.


• Travel will be required, including occasional overnight travel.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Aptitude for either electrical or mechanical environments as well as familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment


• Ability to work well in a team environment.


• Willingness to work overtime is required


• Strong communication skills


• Proven commitment to safety


• Comfort with working at heights

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma


• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving history and no DUIs


• Hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance or equivalent military experience a plus


• Must pass drug-screen and background check
