Job summary

Fravert Services Inc. is seeking an Install Technician to support safe, timely, and high‑quality signage installations in the field under the direction of a Senior Installer or Crew Lead.

You will work outdoors in varying weather and at significant heights, using hand tools, welding equipment, aerial lifts, and cranes while focusing on safety, craftsmanship, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Relevant field/construction experience is preferred.
• Basic electrical knowledge is desirable.
• Ability to work at heights (including above 60 feet).
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret work documents.
• Basic math and computer/tablet proficiency.
• Strong communication skills and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily and weekly installation assignments safely and efficiently.
• Review drawings, installation instructions, maps, and customer requests with crew lead.
• Operate and assist with hand tools, welding equipment, aerial lifts, cranes, and other installation gear.
• Support minor electrical connections and troubleshooting under supervision.
• Communicate with Lead Installer and Project Managers regarding status.
• Document job completion with photos and field reports.
• Identify site conditions or issues affecting schedule or scope.
• Maintain truck inventory and ensure materials are available.
• Perform routine maintenance and care of tools/equipment.
• Ensure job sites are clean, secure, and professional on completion.
• Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions.

Description

The Install Technician is responsible for supporting the safe, timely, and high-quality installation of custom signage in the field. This role works under the direction of a Senior Installer or Crew Lead to complete daily and weekly installation assignments while upholding Fravert’s standards for safety, craftsmanship, and customer service.

Install Technicians work in a variety of environments and elevations, often outdoors and at significant heights, installing unique signage that represents our customers’ brands.

What You'll Do

• Assist with daily and weekly installation assignments safely and efficiently
• Review job drawings, installation instructions, maps, and customer requests with the crew lead
• Operate and assist with hand tools, welding equipment, aerial lifts, cranes, and other installation equipment
• Support minor electrical connections and troubleshooting under supervision
• Communicate clearly with Lead Installer, Outdoor Supervisor, and/or Project Managers regarding job status
• Document job completion with required photos and field reporting tools
• Identify and report site conditions or issues that may impact schedule or scope
• Maintain truck inventory and ensure required materials are available
• Perform routine maintenance and care of tools and equipment
• Maintain proper licensing and DOT log compliance (if applicable)
• Ensure job sites are clean, secure, and professional upon completion
• Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Relevant field or construction-related experience
• Working knowledge of hand tools, welding, aerial lifts, and crane support
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Ability to work at heights (including above 60 feet)
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking ability
• Ability to read and interpret work-related documents
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer and tablet proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior sign installation experience
• CDL (or ability to obtain)
• OSHA certification
