Job summary

Signarama Ozark, MO is seeking a dependable Install / Service / Production Technician to join our hands-on team. This role covers sign production, assembly, finishing, installation, service, site surveys, and deliveries, with a mix of shop and field days in a year-round outdoor/indoor setting in Missouri conditions.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of construction, installation, fabrication, automotive, mechanical, maintenance, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
• Comfortable and competent using basic hand and power tools.
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Able to multitask, take direction, troubleshoot problems, and adapt when plans change.
• Team player who is willing to help wherever needed.
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round and working from ladders or lifts at elevated heights.
• Willing to learn: we can teach sign-specific skills to the right person.

Responsibilities

• Produce, fabricate, assemble, and finish signs and graphics.
• Prepare signs and materials for installation.
• Install interior and exterior signage, including monument signs, post-and-panel signs, dimensional signage, channel letters, and other commercial signage.
• Apply vinyl graphics and other sign materials.
• Perform sign service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other equipment.
• Perform site surveys, measurements, photographs, and job-site documentation.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload signs, equipment, and materials.
• Stage upcoming jobs and maintain an organized production area, warehouse, tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Manage multiple projects and adjust to changing priorities throughout the day.
• Represent Signarama professionally at customer locations and job sites.

Location: Signarama - Ozark, MO

Position: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8 AM-5 PM | Friday, 8 AM-3 PM

Position Overview

We're looking for a dependable, motivated Install / Service / Production Technician who enjoys hands-on work and variety.

This is a versatile position responsible for sign production, assembly, finishing, installation, service, site surveys, and deliveries. Some days will be spent primarily in the shop; others may be spent in the field installing or servicing signs.

Multitasking and flexibility are a must. Priorities can change throughout the day based on customer needs, installation schedules, weather, and project deadlines. You must be able to switch gears, manage multiple responsibilities, and jump in wherever the team needs you.

This is a year-round indoor/outdoor position. You must be comfortable working outside in Missouri heat, cold, wind, and changing weather conditions.

Safety Comes First

• Follow all company and job-site safety procedures.
• Wear and properly use required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Safely operate tools, ladders, lifts, vehicles, and equipment.
• Recognize unsafe conditions and stop to address them before continuing work.
• Keep work areas, vehicles, and job sites clean and free of unnecessary hazards.
• Never sacrifice safety to save time or finish a job faster.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must have or be willing and able to obtain a Missouri Class F driver's license.
• 1+ year of construction, installation, fabrication, automotive, mechanical, maintenance, manufacturing, or similar hands-on experience preferred.

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday.
• Handle large, awkward, or oversized sign materials safely as part of a team.

• Work indoors and outdoors in heat, cold, wind, and changing weather conditions.
• Perform physical work for extended periods throughout the workday.
