Job summary

Matthews Signs, an established sign installation company based in Escondido, CA, seeks a Commercial Sign Installation Helper to support unloading, loading, and transporting signs and materials to job sites.

You will assist with installing electrical signs, maintain and remove signs, and handle materials, tools, and equipment. The role requires a proactive, safety-minded individual willing to work long hours and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and be reliable.
• English proficiency recommended for clear communication.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
• Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Commercial Sign Installation Helper

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Aid with unloading, loading, and transport of signs and materials to the installation site.
• Assist with the installation of electrical signs.
• Help with the maintenance and removal of signs.
• Handle signs, materials, tools, and equipment.

Job Requirements

• Good attitude for work.
• 21 or older preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to stand up for long periods.
• Available to lift and move heavy objects.
• Comfortable working at heights
• Must be flexible with work schedule
• Proficient in English recommended
• Able to follow safety procedures.
• Reliably commute to Escondido, CA 92025 (or plan to relocate before starting work)

Schedule

• Full time with the possibility of overtime
• Typical day shift with some very early morning starts or nighttime work
• Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work
• Some out-of-town work with travel and overnight stays.
