Job summary

Closets by Design Kansas City is seeking an Installation Assistant to join our growing team. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in installing custom closets and home organization systems with supervision, safety emphasis, and a clear path to becoming an Installer with a pay increase.

You will support Installers in delivering quality workmanship in customers' homes, communicate professionally, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• No degree, certification, or specific experience required; coachable candidates preferred.
• Customer-oriented, friendly, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Assist Installers with installation in customers' homes in a safe, high-quality, productive, and profitable manner.
• Communicate with clients in a friendly and professional way to ensure satisfaction.
• Operate company vehicle and tools safely as needed.

We are currently searching for an Installation Assistant to join our growing team. This is an entry-level role, so the ideal candidate will be excited to grow their career in the field of installation.

The Installation Assistant will:

• Assist Installers with the installation of products in a safe, high-quality, productive and profitable fashion in our customers’ homes.
• Demonstrate a commitment to client satisfaction by communicating what is necessary in a genuinely friendly and professional fashion.
• Operate company vehicle, tools, etc. in a safe manner.

Requirements

• No degree, certification, or specific experience is required. We are looking for coachable candidates!
• Customer-oriented, friendly, and punctual.
• Possess and maintain a current driver’s license, good driving record, and operate company vehicle in safe manner. Closet, garage, and office installation experience preferred but not required.
• A team-player.
