Job summary

International Center of Photography seeks an Instagram Assistant to manage the @icp_docit account and engage ICP students, alumni, faculty, and the community. This work-study role supports the Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism Program with content creation and community outreach.

Two positions are available with up to 5 flexible hours per week per student. Ideal candidates are proficient with Instagram, strong writers, and highly organized, able to work independently and coordinate with

Qualifications

• Experience using Instagram for professional, creative, or organizational purposes.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and encourage peers to contribute content.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule social media content.
• Conduct outreach to students and alumni for submissions.
• Coordinate image permissions and usage approvals.
• Collaborate with ICP's Marketing team on social media initiatives.
• Attend occasional program-related events.
• Track and report weekly work-study hours.
