Job summary

YMCA of Fairborn, OH is seeking a Lead Teacher (Toddlers) for a part-time, non-exempt role. You will plan and implement weekly lessons, support children's social and developmental needs, and ensure safety in the classroom.

This position is located in Fairborn, OH and requires collaboration with staff and families. The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA or equivalent, and current CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess high school diploma or GED.
• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college or university required.
• CPR/AED, First Aid, and Oxygen required within first 60 days of employment and kept current.
• Two years’ experience working in early childhood field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops and implements weekly lesson plans.
• Maintains safety and well-being of children and documents incidents.
• Communicates with parents and conducts parent/teacher conferences.
• Maintains cleanliness and order in classroom and related areas.
• Drives or travels between locations if required by assignment.
