Job summary

CREST Collaborative in Andover, MA seeks a Teacher of the Hearing Impaired (full or part time) to deliver high-quality educational services to deaf and hard of hearing students. You will collaborate with school districts, families, and educators to assess needs, document progress, and plan supports within IEP/504 frameworks.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing preferred.
• Experience in deaf education and collaborating with educational teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct services and consult with school districts and education teams.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and prepare reports for IEP/504 plans.
• Provide guidance to families, educators, and communities; build professional relationships.
• Travel to schools to extend services and expertise.
• Deliver stakeholder presentations to raise awareness of deaf education best practices.
• Be adaptable and take on additional duties as directed by leadership.
