Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a School Psychologist to support PreK through 12th-grade students. This contract position offers a 35-hour workweek with a 30-minute unpaid lunch daily, and a collaborative, school-based environment.

The ideal candidate will conduct assessments, provide counseling, collaborate on IEPs, and work with teachers, parents, and administrators. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with competitive pay and benefits including medical coverage and travel

Qualifications

• Degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Ability to perform assessments and counseling effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Licensure or certification as a School Psychologist preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological services including evaluations and assessments for students from PreK to 12th grade.
• Conduct counseling sessions to support students' emotional and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Assist in child study team meetings to determine appropriate interventions and supports.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant regulations and policies.
