Job summary

The Goddard School is seeking a lead teacher to coordinate daily operations of assigned classes and deliver engaging activities in a safe, nurturing environment. You will work directly with children and parents, planning and evaluating educational and recreational activities to provide exceptional customer service.

We offer a supportive team, opportunities for advancement, and a commitment to high standards of education, care, and safety. Nights and weekends are not required.

Qualifications

• Must be a High School Graduate.
• Associate or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• CDA credential preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience preferred.
• Able to communicate with children, parents, and staff; handle stress calmly while multitasking.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; assist with infant handling as needed.
• Meets background check eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead teachers coordinate daily class operations and plan educational activities.
• Present and evaluate activities in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Work with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
• Maintain classroom ratios and ensure resources for classroom success.
