Job summary

CRYSTALS CUDDLE BUGS CHILDCARE CENT in Rosemount, MN seeks a Teacher to provide developmentally appropriate education for children ages 6 weeks through 11 years and to supervise staff, plan lessons, and maintain a safe, organized classroom.

You will adapt curriculum to individual needs, prepare instructional materials, and ensure compliance with state and national standards while maintaining accurate daily reports and strong parent communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 1–2 years related experience or training, or CDA/Track 2 Certification.
• Adult CPR and First Aid certifications required within 90 days of hire and kept current.
• DHS trainings and other mandated trainings completed annually.

Responsibilities

• Teach and follow a daily routine while actively supervising children for safety at all times.
• Adapt curriculum and care to meet individual physical, social, emotional, and developmental needs.
• Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain accurate head counts throughout the day.
• Oversee feeding procedures and allergy prevention protocols.
• Respond to medical emergencies appropriately.
• Promote learning through play-based experiences and hands-on activities.
• Complete detailed daily reports and communicate with parents.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and overtime as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and prepare for seasonal sessions.
• Meet with Department Head and Director regularly.
