Job summary

Riff Music School seeks a part-time piano and/or voice teacher to inspire students through a song-based curriculum. You'll teach private, semi-private, and group lessons Monday–Thursday 2-9PM and weekends, mentoring students as they grow in technique, theory, and creativity to bring music to life.

We value engaged musicians who connect with students and collaborate with staff. Prior teaching is preferred; coaching bands, camps, and Rifflets are possible roles.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Piano and Voice, with preference for both.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication and a student-first mindset.
• Ability to adapt to different ages and musical interests.
• Passion for connecting with students and bringing music to life.

Responsibilities

• Teach private, semi-private, and group lessons.
• Coach bands and camps; teach Rifflets toddler/infant program.
• Inspire students by teaching through the music they love and fundamentals.
• Support performances and recording opportunities built into the Riff experience.
• Create a positive, encouraging environment for learning.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to deliver a high-quality experience.
• Contribute ideas to band programs, camps and special events.
