Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging physics lessons for students at various levels (middle school, high school, or advanced courses).

• Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments aligned with curriculum and standards.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with faculty to create and refine curriculum materials to meet educational goals.
• Maintain an orderly classroom and address student behavior while promoting respect.
• Encourage collaborative group work and individual tasks.
• Provide timely feedback on progress and offer guidance to help students improve.
• Offer office hours, study sessions, or one-on-one mentoring for extra help or challenges.
• Advise students on college and career pathways, particularly in science-related fields.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Science Education, or related field

Master’s degree preferred for advanced courses or higher teaching roles
