Qualifications

• K-12 teaching experience preferred (two years)
• Bachelor’s degree with GPA ≥3.0; Master’s degree preferred
• Connecticut certification or in process; CT Certification 044 PK–12 required

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, achievement-oriented and structured learning environment to reach ambitious goals.
• Build classroom community by partnering with families to support student success.
• Use interim assessment data to drive instruction and interventions.
• Prepare and implement unit and lesson plans with the grade/subject team.
• Model AF core values in interactions with students, families, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with coach and school team to improve instructional practices and culture.
• Attend professional development, team planning and data analysis meetings.
