Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teach physical education, health education, rhythms and dance, and team or individual sports as defined by the curriculum.
• Instruct pupils in citizenship and basic state-mpecified subjects and procedures.
• Work with other PE teachers to plan a balanced program.
• Demonstrate and explain fundamental skills and strategies of sports and movement.
• Provide individual and small-group instruction to meet pupil needs.
• Coach extracurricular athletic activities if asked and supervise activities.
