Job summary

Weeks Middle in Des Moines, IA is seeking an MS Assistant Girls Volleyball Coach (Stipend) to support the Head Coach and help develop skill and team strategies.

The stipend is $1,793 for a part-time role. Requirements include Valid Iowa Coaching Endorsement or Coaching Authorization, strong communication and leadership abilities. First Aid/CPR and CDL are desired. Background checks and district policies apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Iowa Coaching Endorsement or Coaching Authorization.
• Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills.
• Coaching and/or leadership experience.
• First Aid and CPR (optional)
• Knowledge of conference rules and regulations (optional)
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (optional)

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach in operation of athletic program.
• Coaches and instructs players on rules, equipment, and techniques.
• Ensure eligibility and supervise athletes.
• Attend team meetings and events.
• Maintain compliance with district policies.
