St. Joseph School, part of the Pax Christi Academies network, invites applicants for a Full-Time Junior High English Language Arts Teacher. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English or education or related field.
• Master’s degree in education preferred.
• Teaching credential preferred.
• Experience teaching middle school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging ELA lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Teach reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and literature.
• Assess and monitor student progress; provide timely feedback.
• Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment.
• Integrate Catholic teachings and values into daily instruction.
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administration.
• Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and faith-based activities.
