Job summary

Lime Hills Academy is a special school for young people in years 5–11 with an EHCP to support SEMH needs. We will open in a new build in Churchill in 2025 and deliver provision across two sites: Nailsea and Weston, with a core curriculum focused on literacy, numeracy and PSHE.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Able to deliver the curriculum across KS2/KS3.
• Support learners including pupil premium, looked after children, SEND and high attaining students.
• Strong communication and ability to embrace change, motivate colleagues and build relationships.
• Commitment to Teachers' Standards and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons across KS2/KS3.
• Meet the needs of identified learner groups including Pupil Premium and SEND.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff and parents and support families.
• Contribute to enrichment activities and extended opportunities for pupils.
