Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Valid SEI Endorsement/Certification or ability to obtain.
• The incumbent in this position will be required to pass a criminal history background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement instructional activities to engage students in meaningful learning experiences.
• Identify, select, and modify instructional resources for diverse learners.
• Utilize direct instruction to support social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Assist in assessing curricular needs and proposing improvements.
• Maintain effective and efficient record keeping.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents and professionals.
• Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment.
• Model professional and ethical standards in dealings with students and families.
• Ensure student growth is appropriate for age, subject area, and program.
• Participate in trainings and staff meetings; meet deadlines and schedules.
• Support student values and character in the classroom and campus.
• Travel between campuses as required and participate in events outside normal hours.

Education
