Job summary

Lincoln High School Athletics Department is seeking an Assistant Softball Coach to support the development of student-athletes and foster teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship within a competitive program.

Requirements include BA/BS Education preferred and coaching/teaching experience. Must complete coaching fundamentals or equivalent, and health/safety trainings; a post-offer background check is required, with travel between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Education preferred as education level.
• Coaching experience desired to support interscholastic athletics.
• Teaching experience desired to support student-athlete development.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the direction and coordination of interscholastic athletics in their school.
• Works with Head Coach to determine athlete participation during practices and games.
• Positively promotes the athletic program within the schools and community.
• Operates within conference and SDHSAA policies.
• Maintains staff relationships with other coaches.
• Assists with fundraising activities as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
