Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field required or strongly preferred.
• Secondary Mathematics teaching certification required by state.
• Experience teaching high school is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of math content and instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in algebra, geometry, calculus and statistics per curriculum.
• Create a learning environment conducive to engagement and appropriate for high school students.
• Assess student progress through homework, tests, and assessments.
• Incorporate technology and instructional tools to enhance learning.
• Provide timely feedback to students and communicate progress to families.
